surrendering isn't a popular idea in our culture it seems and yet i have found when i surrender to what is then everything becomes easier.. take this easy idea.. today i was out walking in the pouring rain and i met a man who said "its not fit for us to be out" - to which i thought it depends on what i am wearing.. for i have noticed many times when its cold or wet people dressed in hardly anything at all complaining its cold - if i put on my waterproof coat and trousers then i can go out in the rain and surrender to it and it doesn't matter that its raining, i can still go out.. i am not limited to only walking in the sun... even if i am walking in the rain and cold with no jacket i have found if i relax and breathe into that cold feeling it is much easier - and so it is with anything..
