have
you ever been out and had someone say to you "oh isn't it an
awful day"? - maybe you have even said it - if so then let me
show you another way...
i love
all weather - its one of my greatest passions, for me its one of the
greatest adventures of nature - for this is god's show - going to
some plastic funfair just doesn't do it for me, when i can watch the
clouds racing across the sky, or be sat by a river in the rain.
this
time of year is particularly wonderful - there is so much
happening.. have you seen the way the low light lights up all the dips
in the earth, the grass is vibrant green, the trees stand black in
magnificent patterns - the light in the sky is dramatic and
stunning.. and its not just the sights... i adore the smell of wet
earth when its frozen or the smell of running water or the steam
coming off the river when there is a frost, or the sound of rain on
the leaves, the sound of running water, the excitement of being out in
the rain, the wind howling when i am warm in bed. there is so much
delight out there on a moment to moment basis that i feel quite sad
when people say what an awful day it is.

really encourage you to know that there is only our opinion to
weather. it isn't good nor bad.. i really encourage you to find the
wonder and excitement and passion that is our weather - after all its
there all the time and imagine the difference it can make in our life
to embrace it, enjoy it and be in it rather than feeling sad and
complaining about it.
