i
really noticed everywhere i went yesterday had a bigger approach to
valentines.. getting away from couples and hallmark to getting back to
the simplicity of love starting with ourself and the planet...
many
teachings tell us that there is only love, and if its not love then
its a call for love. i have found this to be very useful especially
in helping me be compassionate and understanding towards
others.
when a friend is screaming at me i can know that she
is calling out for love, inside her is a small child who wants a hug
and loving.
when the butcher is hacking his dead cow and
laughing at my turning away that is where he is in his life, that's
all he knows how to be and inside is a small boy that wants to know
he is safe and loved.
and of course i start with myself..when
i am shouting at my beloved that is my call for love, and i hear it
myself and hug my own small child.
